To what percentage should I charge my EV battery?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

It’s best to recharge your EV before the battery drops to around 20%. In cold weather, your range can shrink, so you may need to plug in earlier and a bit more often. Charging also slows down as your battery gets fuller, especially after 80% and even more above 90%.

For the fastest experience, try to start charging before you reach 20% and stop around 80–90%.
