To disconnect your EV from the station, check on your vehicle’s dashboard for any stop charging instructions. Next you will need to press the button on the plug and disconnect manually from your vehicle. Some EVs have a button on the dashboard to unlock the connector.
If you are having trouble disconnecting, try the following steps:
Use the remote on your car keys to lock and unlock the car doors. In most cases, this will release the connector.
Support and lift the cable up when you unlock the connector. The weight of the charging cable may be blocking the unlock mechanism.
